The Fundamentals of Management certificate program at Argosy University, Schaumburg is designed for students who wish to pursue an education in the basic areas of management but do not currently wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree in management. Classes are selected from the core requirements of the Argosy University Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration program. Upon completion of the certificate, students will have improved their ability to understand and communicate business concepts within the discipline areas studied as well as extended their competencies in critical thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

Students who successfully complete the certificate program and decide they want to pursue their BS in Business Administration are invited to apply to that program. Admission is not guaranteed and students are required to go through the standard admissions process. If accepted into the BS in Business Administration program, all of the credits taken in the Fundamentals of Management program can be transferred into the BS in Business Administration program.
